Sellers Policy

Welcome to Happyn! We're excited to have you as a seller on our platform. This Sellers Policy sets out the standards we expect from everyone who lists services or products. It is a plain-language summary — the full, binding terms for sellers are in our Vendor Agreement and Payments Policy.

1. Accurate Listings

Provide accurate and detailed information about your listings, including clear photos, descriptions, pricing, and availability. This helps buyers make informed decisions and reduces the likelihood of disputes.

2. Communication

Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and messages — within 24 hours through the platform. Clear communication is key to building trust and ensuring a smooth transaction process.

3. Fulfillment & Delivery

If you sell physical products, ship items in a timely manner and provide tracking information when available. For services, honor the agreed-upon schedule and communicate any changes to the buyer as soon as possible.

4. Prohibited Items and Services

Do not list items or services that are illegal, unsafe, or that violate our community guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, and discriminatory services.

5. Licensing & Compliance

Provide truthful credentials, licenses, and permits required by law to perform your services (e.g., catering licenses, liquor permits), and comply with all local health and safety codes. Insurance and other eligibility requirements are detailed in the Vendor Agreement.

6. Fees & Payouts

Happyn deducts a Platform Service Fee from each booking, and funds are disbursed to you after the event is successfully completed, pending any disputes. See the Payments Policy and Vendor Payments terms for full details on fees, payout timing, taxes, and 1099-K reporting.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute with a buyer, we encourage you to work together to find a resolution. If necessary, our support team will help mediate. The Platform may hold funds while investigating a dispute, and our decision on the refund amount is final.

8. Account Integrity

Maintain the integrity of your account by not engaging in fraudulent activities, such as creating multiple accounts or manipulating reviews. Violations of this policy may result in account suspension or termination.
