How to Set Up Shipping Information
Shipping on Happyn applies to product listings— physical items that need to be sent to a buyer. Here's how to fulfill product orders and keep buyers updated every step of the way.
When a Product Order Arrives
When a buyer purchases one of your products, it will appear in your orders list:
- Go to Dashboard → Orders.
- Review the order — it includes the buyer's shipping address, items ordered, quantities, and any selected variants.
- Prepare the order for shipment.
Marking an Order as Shipped
Once you've shipped the order, mark it as shipped in your dashboard:
- Open the order in Orders.
- Click Mark as Shipped.
- Enter the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) and the tracking code provided by your carrier.
- Submit the shipment details.
Happyn uses EasyPost to automatically track the shipment. The buyer receives an email with the tracking information immediately after you mark the order as shipped.
Shipment Tracking Statuses
Once a shipment is created, Happyn tracks it automatically. Buyers can see the current status on their order detail page:
A shipping label has been generated but the carrier hasn't scanned the package yet.
The package is moving through the carrier network.
The package is on a delivery vehicle and will arrive today.
The package has been delivered to the buyer's address.
The package could not be delivered and is being returned. Contact the buyer to confirm their address.
Handling Returns
If a buyer initiates a return for a product order, Happyn manages the return shipping label automatically:
- You'll receive a return request notification. Review it in Dashboard → Returns.
- Once you accept the return, Happyn generates a prepaid return shipping label via EasyPost and sends it to the buyer.
- When the package arrives, mark it as received in your returns dashboard to trigger the refund.
Shipping Tips
- Ship orders promptly — buyers appreciate fast fulfillment and it reduces support requests
- Use reliable carriers with real-time tracking to minimize "where is my order" questions
- Enter the tracking code as soon as a label is created — don't wait until the package is at the post office
- Pack items securely to reduce the chance of damage in transit, which is one of the most common return reasons
