The moment we open your area, your shop and listings go live to buyers automatically, and we'll email you to let you know.
Why we don't open everywhere at once
Launching in a new state means clearing real legal and tax groundwork before we can responsibly take orders there. A new state is genuinely a new setup — our existing matrix doesn't simply carry over:
- Sales & use tax review.Our tax counsel reviews the new state's sales/use tax treatment, marketplace-facilitator thresholds, and any local meals or service taxes. Our VA/MD/DC arrangement doesn't transfer to a new state.
- Business registration. We complete foreign qualification and business registration in the new state.
- Tax configuration.We confirm Stripe Tax jurisdiction settings for the new state's rate classes so tax is calculated correctly on every order.
- Insurance & agreements. We review insurance and vendor-agreement terms for state-specific liability differences.
Doing this properly protects both you and your buyers — it means that when we do open, orders, payouts, and taxes all work correctly from day one.
