Setting Blackout Dates (Days Off)

A blackout dateis a whole day you aren't working. Marking a day off keeps buyers whose event falls on that date from booking — or even seeing — your service listings, so you don't get requests you can't fulfill. Blackout dates apply only to your service listings; products and digital goods keep selling as normal.

How to mark a day off

  1. Open your calendar in the vendor dashboard.
  2. Select the day you want off to open the day view.
  3. Choose Mark day off. The day is saved immediately and appears struck through on your calendar.
  4. To make the day bookable again, open it and choose Remove day off.

What a day off does

  • Hidden from date-filtered search.Buyers with an event on that date won't see your service listings in their results.
  • Flagged elsewhere. On your storefront and listing pages, a service shows as "Not available for your event date" and can't be added to the buyer's cart for that event.
  • Dropped at checkout. If a buyer added your service before setting a date, and their date lands on your day off, the item is automatically removed from their order.

Good to know

  • Blackout dates are whole days — they aren't partial-hour blocks.
  • Existing confirmed bookings on a day aren't changed by marking it off; a day off only affects new bookings.
  • Products and digital listings are never hidden by a blackout date.
